FROM “For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or directing, directing the 1st Respondent to re- fix the seniority of the petitioner on par with the officers selected by the 3rd Respondent Board in the 1994-94 recruitment, based on the selection marks obtained by the petitioner in the said recruitment, based on the orders of the Supreme Court in the case of Ranjith Sigh and others Vs state of Tamil nadu in 2025 INSc 612 and consequently grant all attendant service and monetary benefits from the date of selection of the petitioner by the 3rd respondent based on the Representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2026 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” TO THE FOLLOWING “For the reason stated in this affidavit, it is prayed that this Court direct a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction on the file of the 2nd respondent in Rc.No. 3272954 / Rect 2(2) / 2025 dated 02.02.2026 and quash the same as illegal incompetent and without jurisdiction https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WMP No. 27206 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 and further direct the respondent to re-fix the seniority of the petitioner on par with the officers selected by the 3rd Respondent for the recruitment year 1994- 1995, based on the selection marks as per the orders of the Supreme Court in the case of Ranjith Sighs case reported in 2025 INSC 612 together with all consequential benefits and pass further order or other orders and thereby render justice.” 2. Considering the fact that sufficient reasons have been stated in the affidavit filed in support of this amendment petition and also taking note of the fact that there is no serious objection from the respondent, this amendment petition is ordered as prayed for. 3.
