WP No. 24101 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 PRAYER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to release the remaining 50 percentage of the pensionary benefits of the petitioner including, monthly pension, Gratuity, surrendered earned leave salary, commutation with interest of 12 percent per annum, from the date of his retirement till the date of realization within a stipulated time. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the Mr.A.R.Balaji, learned Government Advocate for respondent No.1. 3. In similar circumstances, Writ Petitions filed by similarly placed employees seeking pensionary benefits were allowed and the said order was confirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025.
