02/15.01.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.
2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sadar (Mesra O.P.) P.S. Case No.535/2025(N), registered for the offence under Sections 21(b)/22/25/29 of the NDPS Act and Section 113(3) of B.N.S., pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegations are made that 3.08 gms of brown sugar has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner, which is a small quantity. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 11 of this application. He next submits that the petitioner is in custody since
05.11.2025.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that 3.08 grams of brown sugar has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
5. Considering that the said quantity is small and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 05.11.2025 and in the

attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi in connection with Sadar (Mesra O.P.) P.S. Case No.535/2025(N).
