The Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not considering the case of the Petitioner for grant of Special Grade Post Scale in terms of G.O.Ms.No.96 Finance (Pay Commission-II) Department, dated 20.05.2011 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner was initially appointed as Junior Assistant in the year 2016 in Commercial Tax Department and continuing ever since. 3. The grievance of the petitioner now is that the Petitioner is entitled for grant of Special Grade Post Scale as provided in G.O.Ms.No.96, dated 20.05.2011. Though the Petitioner had submitted representations dated 03.06.2023 and 15.09.2025, the same is not being considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the representations of the Petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed thereon as early as possible and communicate the same to the Petitioner. 3 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) The Respondents are directed to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 03.06.2023 and 15.09.2025 for grant of Special Grade Post Scale in terms of G.O.Ms.No.96, Finance (Pay Commission-II) Department, dated 20.05.2011 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
