By the instant petition, the petitioner – Ashish Kumar Singh is praying for the following reliefs:- “(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kashipur. District Udham Singh Nagar to hear and decide Divorce Petition No. 07 of 2025 "Ashish Kumar Singh Vs. Smt. Neelam" as expeditiously as possible. [b] Pass such other or further order[s] as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case.” 3. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous. 4. In such view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar to expedite the Divorce Petition No.07 of 2025, “Ashish Kumar Singh vs. Neelam”, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of presentation of the certified copy of this order.
