Writ petition is taken up for consideration in terms of order dated 16th September, 2026 when learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 1st October, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Singur Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication dated 1st October, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 2. Today, it is jointly submitted by learned advocates representing petitioner and State respondents that pursuant to order passed by this Court on 16th September, 2026 steps have been taken by the concerned police authorities which permitted the petitioner to run his shop. 2 3. Concerned police authorities are directed to keep vigil over the locale and to take steps so that previous incident may not recur. However, this order shall not preclude the private respondents to take steps in accordance with law, if it is found that petitioner is not having right to occupy the shop in question. 4.
