The grievance of the petitioner is that despite directions being issued by the respondent No.4 Joint Director of Land Records, Bengaluru, as found at Annexure-J dated 17.09.2024, that the Assistant Director of Land Records, Pavagada taluk is required to rectify the mistakes that have happened in the matter of recording the total extent of land in Survey No.85 of Kodamadagu Village, Kasaba Hobli, Pavagada Taluk, Tumkur District, having regard to the discrepancies found that in the Akarband, the extent of land in the said survey number is 24 acres 8 guntas, however in terms of tallscale the extent is shown as 29 acres 8 guntas, the Assistant Director has not proceeded to comply with the directions issued by the Joint Director of Land Records and consequently the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4074 WP No. 770 of 2026 application filed by the petitioner online seeking phodi and durasth is still pending consideration. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to the respondent No.7- Assistant Director of Land Records, Pavagada Taluk, to proceed and comply with the directions issued by the 4th respondent - Joint Director of Land Records in terms of Annexure-J dated 17.09.2024 and in terms of the communication made by the 5th respondent - Deputy Commissioner at Annexure-L dated 23.10.2025 and settle the survey settlement records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
