The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- 2 “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropraite writ directing respondents to reinstate the petitioner as Cook on daily wages in the Government Girls Hostel Rotma, Block – Bastar, District – Bastar (C.G.) with consequential benefits. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing respondents to treat the period from the date of termination to reinstatement as continued service and consequently pay all arrears and benefits for the such period, along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be placed to pass any other appropriate order/direction considering the facts and circumstances of the writ, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was engaged as Cook on daily-wage basis from 29.06.2015 at Government Girls Hostel, Rotama, Block – Bastar, District – Bastar. Petitioner was continuously working since then, however, by oral instructions of the Hostel Superintendent, he was not permitted to work from 15.08.2024, aggrieved with which, petitioner has made several requests and lastly he had submitted representation dated 19.11.2025 before the Respondent No. 3/Collector which is pending consideration till date and therefore, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 3 to consider and take decision on the representation at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respective respondents would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 3 to consider and take decision on the representation, they are having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised 3 by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 3 to consider and take decision on the representation dated 19.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of representation. 6.
