Following are the prayers made by the petitioner. “A) The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to hold and declare that the impugned order dated 19.6.2026 and the impugned seniority list for 2022-2023 are illegal, arbitrary and violative of the MEPS Rules as amended by the Notification dated 24.3.2023 and to quash the same, by issuing writ of certiorari any other writ like nature. B) To hold and declare that the petitioner has come in the Category C of Schedule F to Rule 12 of the MEPS Rules as amended by the Notification dated 24.03.2023 as on 1.2.2000 the date of his initial appointment as Arts Teacher in the school of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 and to grant all benefits of the same including seniority, promotion, arrears of pay, etc; by issuing writ of Mandamus or any other writ like nature. C) To quash and set-aside the impugned Circular dated 28.1.2025 issued by the respondent no.1, by Order wp 6291.2026.odt 2 issuing a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction. D) Pending hearing and final disposal of the above writ petition, the implementation, effect and operation of the impugned seniority list of 2022- 2023 of the respondent no.4 and the impugned order dated 19.6.2026 of the respondent no.3, may kindly be stayed and suspended. E) Pending hearing and final disposal of the above writ petition, the respondents be directed to fill in the post of Head Master only in accordance with the Notification dated 24.3.2023 and the seniority of the petition; F) Pending hearing and final disposal of this writ petition, the respondents be restrained from taking any step or action on the basis of the seniority lists of 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 in the school of the respondent nos.4 and 5. G) Pending hearing and final disposal of this writ petition, the effect, operation and implementation of the impugned Circular dated 28.1.2025 issued by the respondent no.1, be stayed and suspended. H) To grant interim or ad interim reliefs in terms of prayer clauses (D, E, F and G) as above. I) To grant any other relief or order to which the petitioners are found entitled to in law and in the ends of justice.” 2. As could be seen, one of the prayers is to quash and set aside Circular dated 28.1.2025. The petitioner shall go through the order dated 22-12-2025 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Writ Petition(s) (Criminal) No(s). 531/2025, which in a way, indicates that two reliefs cannot be intermingled in one writ Order wp 6291.2026.odt 3 petition. The petitioner shall go through the said order and take corrective steps within two working days, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed for non compliance of the order.
