ORDER (Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan J.) This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue community certificates to the petitioner’s minor daughters namely (1) Minor Yashna Reddy Dodla and (2) Minor Driti Reddy Dodla to the effect that they belong to the Pallan (SC Community) now changed as Devendrakula Velalar in the light of the subsisting caste certificates of the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted as per the G.O.(Ms) No.08 Backward Classes, Most Backward classes and Minorities Welfare (BCC) Department, dated 09.02.2021, the petitioner is entitled to the community certificates as sought. However, the petitioner’s application has not been considered by the respondents.
3. Mr. K. Surendar, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the petitioner had earlier applied for community certificates in the year 2023 and prior to that, she had remarried. Since certain particulars were unavailable, the petitioner’s application could not be considered.
4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequently, a fresh application has been made with all particulars and the same has also not been considered.

Since this Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to issue community certificates based on the subsisting caste certificate of the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with the G.O. and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
8. WMP No.27093 of 2026 is ordered on payment of separate Court fee by each of the petitioners.
