By this application, the respondent nos.2 to 5 seeks a clarification to the order dated 19.05.2026 by which the parties are directed to maintain status quo. 2. Shri Prasad Dhakephalkar, learned Senior Advocate for the respondent nos.2 to 5, appearing through Video Conferencing, submitted that vide order dated 19.05.2026, this Court has directed the parties to maintain status quo. The respondents have not taken any measures in violation of the aforesaid order and owing to vacancies on the post of Supervisory Clerk and Senior Clerks, a select list of eligible candidates was prepared for the purposes of promotion by the Selection Committee. There are nine vacant posts of Senior Clerk and vacant post and supervisory clerk which have to be filled up by promoting the eligible junior clerks and senior clerks. The respondent nos.2 to 5 are ready to maintain the status quo so far as the petitioner is concerned. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner accepted the contention of the learned Senior Advocate for the respondent nos.2 to 5. 2 WP4249-26.odt 4. In view of above, it is clarified that the order dated 19.05.2026 is modified to read that the parties are directed to maintain status quo to the extent of the petitioner. The respondent nos.2 to 5 are at liberty to fill the nine vacant posts of Senior Clerk and vacant post and supervisory clerk for which seniority list is already prepared and transfer the promoted candidates after their selection. 5.
