For Petitioners: Mr.M.P.Vairakannan For Respondent: Ms.R.S.Indira Government Advocate (Crl.Side) ORDER The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.0144 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. When questioned, the petitioners allegedly assaulted the complainants with a wooden log and stones, causing injuries. Hence, the complaint. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioners have committed serious offence and therefore, if anticipatory bail is granted, it would affect the morale fibre of the society. Hence, she opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Taking into consideration the gravity of the allegations against the petitioners and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) regarding injuries, this Court is of the firm view that enlarging the petitioners on anticipatory bail would shock the conscience of society.
