Mukherjee Mr. Tanay Sen … for the petitioner(s) Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta Mr. Sreyash Kumar Singh … for the State-respondent(s) The petitioners are the parents of the boy who eloped with the daughter of the informant. There is statement that the petitioners were aware relating to the incident. However, having considered the locus of the petitioners being the parents, I am of the opinion that they may be granted anticipatory bail on any stringent conditions. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is Allowed. 2 Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners [Banibala Das and Raghunath Das] be released on anticipatory bail subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer of the case and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and/or under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. As the investigation is still in progress, the petitioner no.2 shall meet with the Investigating Officer of the case twice a week and assist him for recovery of the daughter of the informant. So far as the petitioner no.1 is concerned, she shall not leave the jurisdiction of Patashpur police station without informing the concerned police station. Accordingly, CRM (A) 3069 of 2026 is disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.) 3
