GP MUNCIPAL ADMN AND URBAN DEV AP 4 HN,J W.P.Nos.17149 of 2026 & batch The Court made the following Common Order: The petitioners have purchased plots on different dates in Sy.No.509 of 2004. The plots were unapproved plots and the petitioners for the purpose of developing the same would have to regularize the plots by referring to G.O.Ms.No.10 issued by the 1st respondent. 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the petitioners have submitted applications in the month of April, 2026, seeking regularization of the plots under L.R.S. scheme. It is also submitted that the petitioners have paid the requisite fee for regularization of the plots of the petitioners. It is further submitted that the petitioners ought to take a decision on the applications of the petitioners on or before 02.07.2026. It is also submitted that as on date, the respondents have not taken any decision on the application of the petitioners. It is also submitted that unless the plots layouts are regularized, the petitioners would be enabled to develop the plots into residential units or put them to improper use. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 5th respondent – Madanapalle Municipality, on written instructions, submits that the applications of the petitioners could not be considered as they are several litigations over the property. 4. It is further submitted that the 5th respondent has identified certain civil suits, which are pending and the Writ Petition bearing No.3350 of 2014, which 5 HN,J W.P.Nos.17149 of 2026 & batch is pending for consideration before this Court and that, Execution Petitions are also pending before the Trial Court. 5. On these considerations, the respondents are enabled to proceed further with the disposal of the applications of the petitioners. 6. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in reply submits that the Civil Suit and the Civil Revision Petition was dismissed and that, the dispute between the petitioners and the third parties has nothing to do with the respondents in considering the applications of the petitioners in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.10. 7. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 5th respondent, the present Writ Petition can be disposed off, directing the respondents concerned to pass necessary orders on the applications filed by the petitioners and communicate the said orders to the petitioners. 8. Needless to mention, the concerned respondents shall have to pass appropriate orders within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of the order on the applications submitted by the petitioners. 9. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed off.
