After the matter was heard for some time, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that there are prima facie indications of undervaluation of the property for the purpose of stamp duty and that, while the document would be registered, it would thereafter be referred to the appropriate authority under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, for determination of the proper market value and the deficit stamp duty, if any. 3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to receive and register the sale deed, if it is otherwise in order. It is, however, open to the respondent to initiate appropriate proceedings under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
