Vs.
The Executive Engineer
Mr. S.Golder
… for the petitioner
Mr. Rakesh Kumar … for the respondents
September 30, 2026 [SR] Item No.2
1. The writ petition is filed seeking relief in the form of a direction upon the respondent to forthwith provide an individual water tap connection.
2. Learned advocate representing the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council (SVPMC for short) submits that the petitioner’s application is in process and the water tap connection is likely to be granted soon. He submits that the process will be completed within a period of four weeks.
3. In view of such submission advanced on behalf of SVPMC, and since the process is to be completed within four weeks, pendency of the writ petition would serve no useful purpose.
4. Recording submission on behalf of the SVPMC, the writ petition is disposed of.
5. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
