Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/ order, thereby directing the respondents to consider and decide the pending application of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment, within stipulated time, in accordance with law. 10.2 That, any other relief/ order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that father of petitioner while working on the post of Siksha Karmi Gr. 3 died in harness on 10.01.2015. Sandhya Netam submitted an application for grant of compassionate appointment, however, unfortunately, during pendency of the application she also died. Thereafter, petitioner submitted an application for grant of compassionate appointment vide Annexure P-4 dated 09.07.2025, which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to Respondent No. 4 to take decision on the pending application at the earliest within specific time frame. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the decision on the application for compassionate appointment is to be taken by Respondent No. 4/ Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Farasgaon, for whom he is not appearing. 4. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance as also that application submitted by petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment is pending consideration since 09.07.2025, this writ petition is disposed of directing Respondent No. 4 to consider and take decision on the application of petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 03 months from the date of receipt of application. 5.
