...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased tomay be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, order or direction, declaring the action of the Respondents in initiating the promotion process to ARSI for the year 2026 without considering the Petitioners and relying on the illegal battalion-wise seniority system under the proceedings of the Respondents in Memo No. A2/87/2026, dated 16.03.2026 as arbitrary, illegal, and violative of Articles 14, 16, and 21 of the Constitution of India as well as oppose to the orders of the Division Bench of the Honourable High Court of Telangana in W.P. No. 16166 of 2020, dated 17.02.2026 and to set aside the same consequentially, suspend the operation of the Memo No. A2/87/2026, dated 16.03.2026 by directing the Respondents to refrain from making any further promotions to the post of ARSI until a State-wide seniority list is prepared and the Petitioners are considered in accordance with law as well as in the light of the orders of the Division Bench of the Honourable High Court of Telangana in W.P. ORDER:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the respondents have already effected the promotions and hence the matter has become infructuous and prays to give liberty to challenge the orders in a separate proceedings. Recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the subsequent orders in a separate proceedings. No order as to costs.
