For Petitioner(s): Ms.R.Reshma For Respondent(s): Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, Government's Counsel Order This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 12.06.2026 and to issue patta to the petitioner for the land in Survey Nos.265/1 and 2652B situated at Kallukuttai Area, Kaliyanoor Village, Kancheepuram District based on the assignment patta dated 14.10.2000 and to direct the respondent not to evict the petitioner from the property without following due process of law. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 12.06.2026 seeking for an issuance of patta to the petitioner for the land in Survey Nos.265/1 and 2652B situated at Kallukuttai Area, Kaliyanoor Village, Kancheepuram District based on the assignment patta __________ Page2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 24205 of 2026 dated 14.10.2000 and not to evict the petitioner from the subject property without following due process of law. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 12.06.2026 will be considered and disposed of upon the production of original assignment patta dated 14.10.2000. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government’s Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to conduct an enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the other parties concerned, if any.
