The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondents in not releasing the retirement benefits i.e., the encashment of Earned Leave vide Bill Nos.2025-289153 for Rs.9,25,508/- and 2024-289148 for Rs.18,96,012 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as Assistant Director of Industries at Adilabad in the department of Industries and Commerce in the year 1992 and retired from service on 30.11.2024 as Additional Director of Industries and as the retirement benefits of the Petitioner are not being processed and released, the present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that upon quantification of the petitioner’s retirement benefits, the same will be released subject to clearance by the Finance Department. 4. As there is no dispute that the Petitioner had served in the Industries and Commerce Department in various capacities and had retired from service on the dates mentioned above, the writ petition is disposed of with following directions: 4 i) The Respondents are directed to process and pay all the retirement benefits to the account of the Petitioner within a period of three months from today, failing which the respondents shall also consider for payment of interest as per rules. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
