Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that while making construction on obtaining permission from the concerned authority petitioner was obstructed by the respondent no.6 which led to lodging of a complaint by the petitioner. It is further submitted that direction may be passed upon the concerned police authorities to provide assistance to the petitioner during pendency of the criminal proceeding. 3. State respondents and respondent nos.5 & 6 are represented by learned advocates. 2 4. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 31st March, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Burdwan Police Station, Purba Bardhaman along with supporting documents and same are taken on record. 5. It is disclosed in the communication dated 31st March, 2026 that a criminal prosecution being Burdwan P.S. Case No.1462 of 2021 dated 23rd December, 2021 was initiated which culminated into filing of charge-sheet being no.169 of 2022 dated 28th February, 2022 under certain provisions of IPC. 6. In view of filing of charge-sheet, no further order need be passed on this writ petition save and except granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, if occasion so arises. 7. However, concerned police authority is directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale. 8. Writ petition stands disposed of. 9.
