The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to disburse the amount due towards the contract work, including the Earnest Money Deposit, Additional Security Deposit, and the 5% retention amount, aggregating to a sum of Rs.21,91,961/-, in respect of ten work orders stated to have been completed by the petitioner. 3. According to the petitioner, pursuant to the work orders issued by the respondent, the contracted works have been duly completed and the corresponding bills have been submitted seeking payment of the amounts due, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite repeated representations, the respondent has not considered the request for disbursement of the said amounts. 4. Ms. N. Devi, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioner’s claim would be considered within such time as may be stipulated by this Court. 5.
Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 19.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 10.02.2026, 23.02.2026, 10.03.2026, 25.03.2026, and 22.04.2026, on their own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
