Jaiswal, Advocate For the State :- Mr. Sunil Kumar Dubey, A.P.P. ---- 02/25.03.2026 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no.2 Satish Tigga has already been arrested, in view of that he is not pressing the anticipatory bail on his behalf. 2. Accordingly, the prayer of anticipatory bail of petitioner No.2 Satish Tigga is dismissed as not pressed. 3 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner no.1 as well as the learned counsel appearing for the State. 4. Now the surviving petitioner No.1 Sandeep Kumar Ram is apprehending his arrest in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No.410 of 2025 for the alleged offences registered under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(1), 341(1) and 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner no.1 submits that the petitioner no.1 was employed in the shop of the informant and he was working in the said shop since last fifteen years and his -2- duty was to show the jewelries to the customers as per their demand in front of the informant and other staffs. He submits that allegations are made of manipulation with the register and the weight of the jewelries by the petitioner no.1. According to him, the said register is being maintained by the owner of the shop that is not within the reach of the petitioner no.1. He further submits that one of the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in A.B.A. No.881 of 2026. 6. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that there is allegation of embezzlement of gold having modus operandi of removing the tag and showing the weight of the gold lesser. 7. Considering that the petitioner no.1 happens to be the employee of the said shop of the informant and the allegations are made of manipulating the register and it has been pointed that the register is maintained by the shop owner and that is not within the reach of petitioner and further co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in aforesaid A.B.A. and in that view of the matter, the petitioner No.1 Sandeep Kumar Ram is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioner No.1 on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper. 8.
