1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The applicant, who is in custody since 01.09.2025, has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Cyber Crime P.S. Case No.56 of 2025, corresponding to Cyber Crime Case No.18 of 2025, registered for the offence under Section 318(2)/ 318(3)/ 318(4)/ 319(2)/ 336(2)/ 336(3)/ 338/ 340(2)/ 61(2) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 66(B)/ 66(C)/ 66(D) of the I.T Act, pending in the court of learned A.J.C – II -cum- Special Judge, Cyber, Ranchi. It appears that this applicant has been made an accused for committing cyber crime. 3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that complete set of F.I.R along with its enclosures have been annexed with the present bail application and there is no suppression on his part. Innocence of the applicant has been claimed and undertaking has been given for participation in the trial. Defence has been taken by the learned counsel for the applicant that the mobile phone of the applicant has been hacked. It has further been submitted that this applicant is a daily wage labourer having no criminal antecedent. On the above basis, prayer for bail has been made. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail stating that Rs.27 lakh, which is the proceeds of cyber crime, has been credited in the bank account which is linked with this applicant's mobile number. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and from - 1 - B.A. No.480 of 2026
2026:JHHC:5513 perusal of record, it appears that it is an organized crime in the area and further, there is recovery of a mobile phone from this applicant. 6. Considering the recovery and the nature of crime, I am not inclined to enlarge the applicant on bail.
