1. The present writ petition is not being pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, with a prayer that reasonable time be granted to him to vacate the premises.

Learned counsel for the respondents, upon instructions from his client, submits that they have no objection if the time prayed for by the petitioners to vacate the tenanted premises is granted.
3. On the consent of the parties, the petitioner is granted two years’ time to vacate the premises, subject to the following agreed terms: (i) The petitioner shall vacate the premises on or before
31.03.2028. (ii) The petitioner shall pay all arrears of rent, as per the decree, within a period of four weeks.
[2026:RJ-JP:12477] (2 of 2) [CW-5343/2026] (iii) The petitioner undertake to pay mesne profits at the rate of Rs. 5,000/- per month with effect from 01.04.2026 (iv) The petitioner is directed to file an undertaking before the learned Rent Tribunal stating that he shall vacate the premises on or before 31.03.2028, and that he shall continue to pay mesne profits at the rate of Rs. 5,000/- per month until vacating the premises. He shall further undertake not to sub-let or make any alterations in the disputed premises. (v) The mesne profits payable from 01.04.2026 shall be paid by the petitioner by the 15th day of each succeeding month. In the event of default for three consecutive months in payment of mesne profits, the respondents shall be entitled to initiate execution of the decree. (vi) In case of non-compliance with this order, the petitioner shall be liable for proceedings for contempt of court.
4. With the above observations, the present Civil Writ Petition stands disposed of.
