THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ADMISSION, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA ORAL ORDER After addressing the arguments for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has filed the memo, which reads as under: <MEMO The petitioner undertakes to pay the fine amount of Rs.1,00,000/- on 30.04.2026, Rs.50,000/- and on 02.06.2026 Rs.50,000/-. Remaining 1 Lakh was deposited before the Trial Court. Same may be taken on record and close the case in the interest of justice.= 2. Learned counsel for the respondent appearing through video conference submits that, memo can be accepted and the matter can be disposed of. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18180 CRL.RP No. 1236 of 2022 3. Taking note of the attendant facts and circumstances of case, the balance fine amount is ordered to be paid in installments as per the memo, which would meet the ends of justice. Accordingly, the following: ORDER i. Placing the memo on record, the petition stands disposed of. ii. Amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant under due identification, if not already withdrawn. iii. It is made clear that, if there is default in payment of the fine amount as agreed in the memo, the petitioner shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by the Trial Magistrate confirmed by the First Appellate Court.
