Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicants/writ petitioners, who by means of this application has prayed for amendment of the cause title pertaining to the respondent no. 2. In the writ petition, the respondent no. 2 was described as follows: Page No.# 4/4 “2. The Principal Secretary, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Pin-782460.” Shri Ahmed, learned counsel has, however, submitted that the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, as such was not made a party in the connected writ proceeding due to inadvertence. He accordingly submits that the respondent no. 2 may be allowed to be described as : “2. The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Represented by the Principal Secretary, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Pin-782460.” Considering the nature of the relief prayed for, the instant application for amendment is allowed. The applicants/writ petitioners are accordingly required to file amended cause title with the corrected name of the respondent no. 2.
