The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the F.I.R. was registered against the petitioner alleging that the petitioner along with nine others conducted a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act without obtaining prior permission, causing disturbance to the public. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that initially a case was registered by the first respondent and after investigation, the first respondent police filed ‘Further Action Dropped’ report in No.FR/78/2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam on 22.03.2022. 4. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
