When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appellant insurance company submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties before the learned III Additional District Judge, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Puducherry, in E.P.No.21 of 2026 in M.C.O.P.No.869 of 2019 and a Joint Compromise Memo dated 29.04.2026 has been filed by both parties, which is also signed by the respective counsel. In the light of the above development, the Joint Compromise Memo dated 29.04.2026 may be recorded before the execution Court. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of. Consequently, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is rejected at the SR stage itself.
