The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the District Election Officer for consideration of his prayer for including the name of the petitioner in the voter list. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the District Election Officer on March 6, 2026 but till date the District Election Officer has not considered the same. 3. In view of the above, the District Election Officer is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated March 6, 2026 and to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of. 5. Urgent certified Photostat copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
