The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, claiming to be the owner of land measuring 01 Kanal 05 Marlas comprising Khasra No. 242, situated at Drang Revenue Village Kotli, Tehsil Kastigarh, District Doda, submits that the respondents are in the process of using the said land for widening of the link road from Kadal to Hawi Morh (Kastigarh), passing through Village Kotli (Drang), without following the due course of law. The petitioner has, accordingly, prayed that the respondents be directed to acquire the said land in terms of the applicable law and to pay compensation to the Petitioner. 02. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied in case the present petition is disposed of with appropriate directions to the respondents in the aforesaid terms. 03. Learned counsel for the respondents, who is present in Court, submits that the respondents shall not be averse to the plea raised by the petitioner and that the matter may be considered in accordance with law. Serial No. 19 2 04. In view of the submissions made and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to acquire the land of the petitioner, in case the same is being utilized for the aforesaid purpose, and to proceed in the matter in accordance with law, including the determination and payment of just and fair compensation to the petitioner under the applicable statutory provisions. 05.
