The petitioner submitted an application to the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the said lands. However, the said application has not been processed stating that his vendor is in arrears of consumption charges of Rs.8,45,380/-. 2. Learned Standing counsel for the respondents on instructions submitted that the petitioner has purchased 91.37 cents out of 549 cents and he is liable to pay proportionately a sum of Rs.2,73,104/-. Upon such deposit, the petitioner will be provided with service connection subject to the petitioner satisfies other criteria. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 3. In light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,73,104/-to the respondent. Upon such deposit, the respondent shall provide service connection to the petitioner pursuant to the application dated 24.03.2026 subject to the petitioner satisfying other criteria. 4.The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of deposit to be made by the petitioner. 5.
