When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that an enquiry was conducted into the complaint against the petitioners and that both the petitioners as well as the other side had already been enquired into. It was further submitted that the petition has been closed and, therefore, the petitioners will no longer be required by the respondent police.
