JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER 20.04.2026 Heard Mr. I. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. R.R. Kaushik, learned APP for the State. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, namely Ribul Islam @ Ribul Alom, Rakibul Alom @ Rakibul Islam, Nur Zamal, Nurul Amin and Rijuwan Faruk, in connection with Dhing P.S. Case No. 237/2025, registered under Sections 126(2)/191(2)/191(3)/296/117(2)/118(2)/ 109 of the BNS, 2023. The scanned copy of the Trial Court Records (TCR) has been received, and it appears that the charge sheet has been submitted in the meantime. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is a likelihood of the petitioners being taken into custody by the learned Committal Court during the period when the matter is forwarded to the learned Trial Court. Accordingly, it is prayed that the petitioners be protected till they receive Page No.# 3/3 summons from the learned Trial Court. Considering that the charge-sheet has already been submitted, the petitioners, namely Ribul Islam @ Ribul Alom, Rakibul Alom @ Rakibul Islam, Nur Zamal, Nurul Amin and Rijuwan Farukare directed to appear before the learned Trial Court as and when summons are received by them. Till such time, in the event of their arrest, they shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 25,000/- each, with one surety each of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. The arresting authority shall be at liberty to impose such conditions upon the petitioners as may be deemed necessary to ensure their appearance before the learned Trial Court.
