The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the case, it can be seen that from the year 2021 for the past 5 years summons itself is not served. 3. When the matter came up for hearing today, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent that the trial has not yet commenced, in view of the fact witness summons is not served. He further submits that in between since there was some vacancy, the trial could not be proceeded. Now the witness summons will be served and the case will be proceeded further. 4. In view thereof, directing the respondent police to obtain summons for the listed witnesses as per the directions of this Court and to serve the same on the witnesses within four weeks from today and thereafter the Trial Court is directed to proceed further with Trial in C.C.No.4680 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible and complete the trial within a period of 8 months there from.
