23.09.2026 Ct. 3 Item No. AD 13 Saswata WPA 5205 of 2026 Archa Kumar Banerjee & Anr. Versus The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Rabindra Kumar Jaiswal …For the petitioners 1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is retained with the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a direction upon the municipal authorities to disburse the admitted dues payable to the petitioner in respect of higher charges for bulldozer and excavator machines in terms of the LOI cum work order issued in favour of the petitioner on 10th January 2024 for the period from 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2024. 3. According to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, subsequent to filing of the writ petition the respondents have disbursed an amount of Rs.22,06,338/-. The balance amount remains outstanding. 4. The municipality is not represented. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner only, at this stage, seeks consideration of his representation dated 23rd February 2026 appearing at page 26 of the writ petition, I am of the view that the above writ petition should be disposed of by directing the municipality to dispose of the petitioner’s representation in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order. 2 6. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from this Court’s official website.
