REP BY ITS CORRESPONDENT. ...RESPONDENT(S): 2 BKM,J W.P.No.4829 of 2014 Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue an appropriate direction, order or writ more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in stalling the processing of the proposals sent by the managements for affecting the promotion of the petitioners in terms of G.O.Ms. No. 40 dated 18-06-2013 on erroneous assumptions that the proposals cannot be processed beyond the cutoff date as per the directions given in the Annexure to the Proceedings of the 2nd respondent in R.C.No. 1000/B2-1/2010 dated 13-08-2013 as being erroneous, illegal and arbitrary violating Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.40 Edn. Dated 18-06-2013, and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to forthwith process the proposals of the management for affecting the promotions of the petitioners to the next higher posts and issue such other writ or order or direction as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of case. In view of the same, nothing survives in this matter. 4. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
