For Petitioner : Mr.M.Dhivakar For Respondents : Mr.J.Athiaman for R2 O R D E R This writ petition has been filed challenging the notice issued by the first respondent dated 21.04.2026, thereby the first respondent called upon the petitioner for enquiry before registration of FIR. 2.It is seen that before registration of the complaint lodged by the second respondent, the first respondent issued notice to the petitioner to join for enquiry under the provisions of BNSS. It is challenged on the ground that the first respondent has no jurisdiction to enquire any complaint lodged by the second respondent. 3.The first respondent, even before registration of FIR, rightly issued notice for enquiry on receipt of the complaint from the second respondent. Therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the notice issued by the first respondent. Now the period of notice got expired. If any fresh notice is issued by the first respondent, the petitioner is directed to act in accordance with law. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. Crl.
