JUSTICE PRANJAL DAS ORDER 20-04-2026 Mr. Thsachopa, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the contempt petition, Brigadier Ranjev Nayan Singh, DIG, Assam Rifles is to be impleaded as respondent no. 3 in place of Dig Vijay Singh, Brigadier, DIG who was earlier posted in the office of the DIG and that he was wrongly impleaded instead of the aforementioned , Brigadier Ranjev Nayan Singh, DIG, Assam Rifles. Notices have already been directed in the main contempt petition. The impleadment of the new incumbent is hereby allowed. The fresh cause title indicating the newly impleaded respondent shall be filed and steps of notice shall be taken upon the said newly impleaded respondent no. 3 by speed post.
