2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner criminally trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant during the early hours of the morning and attempted to molest and commit rape upon her. Hence, the case was registered.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the defacto complainant and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) strongly opposed the bail application on the ground that the allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature and that the investigation is still pending.
5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the
learned counsel on either side.
6. Considering the serious nature of the allegations and the fact that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
