The petitioner is seeking regular bail, in connection Ranchi Sadar P.S. case No. 470/2025 registered under sections 21(b), 22(b), and 32 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, pending in the court of learned Judicial Commissioner cum Special Judge (NDPS) at Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that 29.20 grams brown sugar has been recovered from the conscious possession of Vikram Nayak and the said quantity is intermediary. He next submits that from the possession of the petitioner, the said recovery is not there. He next submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in Para 12 of the petition. He also submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.9.2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner has been apprehended along with the co- accused. 5. Considering that in the order of the learned Session Judge, it has come that the said recovery was from the conscious possession 2026:JHHC:995 2 of Vikram Nayak and the quantity is intermediary, petitioner is in custody since 27.9.2025 and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedents as disclosed in Para 12 of the petition, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner cum Special Judge (NDPS) at Ranchi in connection with Ranchi Sadar P.S. case No. 470/2025.
