The learned Government Advocate representing the first respondent submitted that challenging the impugned notice dated 11.05.2026, the writ petitioner has already preferred a Special Revision Petition before the Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department (the first respondent herein) and the same is pending consideration. 2. The petitioner has rightly approached the Government challenging the notice issued under Sections 56 and 57 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971. Therefore, it is appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the Special Revision Petition on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today.
