On repeated calls, none appears for the petitioner to press this petition. However, Mr. Priyank Rathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the State is present. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA Digitally signed by ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA 2 Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs : “10.1. That, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith consider and grant extension of the petitioner's parole for a period of at least two months from 11.03.2026, or until he attains medical fitness (whichever is earlier), on humanitarian and medical grounds. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to grant any other relief which may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned State counsel has pointed out that as per his instructions, the instant petition has become infructuous as the petitioner has already surrendered after completion of the period of parole. 4.
