WP No. 24175 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to respondent to consider and dispose of petitioner’s application bearing Reference No.200094340326203 dated 06.03.2026 and consequently provide Low Tension Domestic Electricity Service Connection to petitioner’s residential premises bearing Door No.2, 2nd Street, situated at Venugopal Street, Ambedkar Nagar, Ambattur, Chennai, without insisting upon production of title documents by accepting an indemnity bond or any other undertaking as contemplated under the applicable regulations, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. It is submitted by learned Standing Counsel for respondent that petitioner’s application dated 06.03.2026 has been rejected for want of documents. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that order rejecting petitioner’s application has not been communicated and the copy the same was furnished across the bar by learned Standing Counsel for respondent to petitioner’s counsel. 4.
