DATE : 24 AUGUST, 2026. P. C. : 1. This Interim Application is filed by the State seeking extension of time for compliance with the order dated 08 July 2026. 2. By order dated 08 July 2026, Writ Petition No.9673 of 2019 was disposed of, granting four weeks’ time to Respondent No.2 to decide the representation preferred by the Petitioner. Further, it was Shrikant Malani 2026:BHC-KOL:8083-DB 33.IA.1203.2026.odt directed that, once the representation is decided, Respondent No.2 shall take a decision and inform the Petitioner about the quantum of money to be recovered, if any, from the Petitioner. 3. It has been submitted in this Interim Application that there was no deliberate or intentional delay on the part of the Applicant and that some more time would be required to complete all the mandatory administrative stages for deciding the representation of the Petitioner. 4. Having heard the learned counsel for both sides and after going through the Interim Application, a further period of ten (10) weeks is granted from 24 August 2026 for implementation of the directions given by this Court in the order dated 08 July 2026, passed in Writ Petition No.9673 of 2019. 5. Both the parties are directed to remain present in the office of the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Maharashtra State, Pune, on 27 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. 6.
