The petitioner is an accused in connection with Borio P.S. Case No.75 of 2025. It has been alleged that one Talamai Murmu had allured the daughter of the informant to her house where a person had committed rape upon her. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim had recorded her statement under Section 180 of BNSS in which she has stated that it was Nishan Murmu who had established physical relationship with her. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.10.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the main allegation of committing rape upon the victim is attributed to Nishan Murmu, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO at Sahibganj in connection with Borio P.S.
