Learned counsel for the State has submitted the report wherein it reveals that the tender process initiated by the respondent authorities is required to be cancelled in view of the memorandum issued by the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal vide Memo No. 3557-F(Y) dated September 23, 2026 mandating procurement though the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). 2. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the memorandum of the Government of West Bengal dated September 23, 2026 the authorities are decided to cancel the said tender and to proceed with the fresh tender as per the GeM. 3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the State and the report submitted by the State authorities, this Court finds that nothing remains in the present writ application as the authorities are not going to proceed with the said tender process and going to cancel the same. 2 4. Accordingly, WPA 26202 of 2026 is disposed of. 5. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
