Mrs. Rajni Rangwal, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Pawan Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. By the instant writ petition, the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs:- “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Ist Additional District Judge, Dehradun to expedite the hearing of civil appeal no.57 of 2023 Narendra Vs. Smt. Tara Devi and others, pending in the Court of Ist Additional District Judge, Dehradun and decide the same as earliest as possible, preferably within the period, prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Pass any other and further orders, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. iii. Award the cost of writ petition to the petitioner.” 3. The relief as sought in the writ petition appears to be innocuous. 4. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 64 years and the appeal is pending since 2023, but the other side is adopting delaying tactics. 5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of finally with the 2026:UHC:3278 direction to the learned Ist Additional District Judge, Dehradun to expedite the Civil Appeal No. 57 of 2023, “Narendra Vs.
