Learned Senior Counsel submits that the petitioner has already deposited the entire amount upto the year 2025-26 and relied on the receipts filed as annexures to the petition. 2. Issue notice to the respondents. 3. Ms. Shikha Sharma, associate of Mr. GS Gill, learned AAG appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents [2026:RJ-JP:12545-DB] (2 of 2) [CW-4814/2026] 4. We find that the demand has been raised for non-payment of the urban development tax for the last 18 years. The petitioner has already made a representation, the same shall be decided in accordance with law by passing a speaking order. Opportunity shall be given to the petitioner to place the documents on record, reflecting that the amount has already been deposited. For the said purpose, the petitioner shall personally appear before the Assessing Officer on 30.03.2026. 5. The petition is accordingly, disposed of. Pending application(s) also stand disposed of.
