ORAL ORDER
Learned Additional Government Advocate is directed to take notice of all the respondents.
2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he was granted 3 acres of land in Sy.No.87 of Shivarapattana Village, Kasaba Hobli, Maluru Taluk, pursuant to the orders passed by the Committee for regularization of unauthorized occupation in its order dated 23.02.2004. Thereafter Saguvali Chit was also issued in favour of the petitioner as found at Annexure-F dated
05.03.2004. However the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the revenue records. In that regard several representations have been given by the petitioner to the respondent No.4 - Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, but The Tahsildar has not passed any orders and therefore this writ petition is filed by the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioner, writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 - Tahsildar, Malur Taluk to verify from the

records as to whether such an order was passed by the Committee and the Tahsildar and whether Saguvali Chit is already issued in favour of the petitioner. If the claim of the petitioner is verified to be correct, then respondent No.4 shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. On the other hand it is found that a kimmat is not paid, then kimmat may be collected from the petitioner and thereafter the name of the petitioner shall be entered in the revenue records. Ordered accordingly.
Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
